Amazon「Kindle Paperwhite」発表、電子ペーパーの欠点を解消

Kindleの第5世代製品が先日発表された。Kindle Paperwhiteでは、解像度が62%、コントラストが
25%向上させて見やすくなったにも関わらずバッテリーは8週間も持つという改善がなされている。
それに加えて日本でも発売されるという点も大きい。ただ、出版社側との調整がつかないのか
いつ発売なのか現時点でも全く見えないのが心配なところではある。

自分の読む速度を記憶しておいてくれて、読んでいる章がいつ読み終わるか推測してくれると
いうことだろうか。章の長さはバラバラだと思うので、1章終わった時点で最後まで読み終わるのに
3時間とか出てくるのかな。あまり使い道がわからない。

翻訳機能は前からあるのだろうけど、やっぱり便利そうである。
Kindle Fireにはあまり惹かれないけど、Kindle Paperwhiteは発売されたら買ってしまいそうだ。
